St. James Episcopal Church, Fremont, NE

St. James Episcopal Church is one of the oldest church buildings in Fremont and Dodge County. Unfortunately, I've been unable to locate little information on the history of this parish.

St. James is a wonderful example of an early English Gothic Revival church. Note especially the carved ceiling beams.

An elaborately carved Eagle Lectern in the sanctuary.

The Book of Common Prayer stands watch in the choir.

View towards the rear of the church.

Marble baptismal font with an ornate brass lid.

A stunning window of the Ascension dominates the entrance of the church, both interior and exterior.
